Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Anchor (“the app”, “we”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What Anchor Is

Anchor is a personal growth and habit tracking web application. It allows you to log daily habits, track mood, write reflections, plan tasks, and (with Anchor Plus) view analytics and AI-generated insights about your patterns.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Anchor.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is not allowed.

4. Anchor Plus — Payments

Anchor Plus is a one-time, lifetime purchase. There are no recurring charges or subscriptions.

• Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
• After successful payment, Plus features are activated immediately on your account.
• Refund policy: Due to the digital and instant nature of the product, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to Plus features after payment, contact us within 7 days and we will resolve it.
• Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to tamper with, reverse-engineer, or exploit any part of the app or its APIs.
• Attempt to manipulate your subscription status or circumvent paid feature restrictions.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.

6. Your Content

Your journal entries, habit data, photos, and reflections belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. By using Anchor, you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content to you within the app. We will never share your personal content with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g. photo storage via Cloudinary).

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Anchor available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, introduce changes, or experience outages beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unavailability of the service.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at anchor.app67@gmail.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Anchor is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• Loss of data due to user error or unforeseen technical failures.
• Decisions you make based on analytics or AI-generated content in the app.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Anchor.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Anchor after changes means you accept the revised terms.
